The role functions as an online and outage job sponsor for supplemental workforce, providing technical guidance and serving as the subject‑matter expert for reactor maintenance activities within the protected nuclear area.
Key duties include budgeting for the maintenance task area, conducting assessments and root‑cause analyses, coordinating with engineering, regulatory bodies, and external vendors, and overseeing both internal and external field work.
The position primarily involves office work with frequent plant visits during outages, requires flexibility for 24‑hour schedules, and may expose the individual to temperature extremes, noise, and radiation.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and at least eight years of related experience; an associate degree in science and five years of nuclear station work are preferred, along with demonstrated leadership and communication abilities.
