Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment. Complete walk-arounds, safety checks and ensure equipment is running properly
Minor repairs to equipment. Report any necessary reports to the supervisor
Operate two-way radios and other communication when required
Operate equipment while adhering to all safe work practices and procedures
Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks
Secure special attachments to equipment
Follow Secures’ operating standards and procedures
Requirements

Work and/or travel in varied terrains, weather conditions, isolated locations and by various means of transportation
Grade 12 or GED
Must have steel toe work boots; other personal safety gear is an asset
2 years equipment operation experience
One or more years experience operating equipment in industries such as civil earth works, pipelines, or Oil & Gas
Must be physically fit, heavy labour is required
A minimum of 5,000 hours in Heavy Equipment operations
Ability to Work variable shifts & hours
