Perform quality control inspections and report generation for metal stamping and fabrication processes.
Perform first article inspections (FAI) and FAI layouts on new or revised parts and components.
Generate and maintain inspection reports (History Cards) as required.
Learn and work in critical modules of the QMS database (UniPoint), including NC, CPA, Inspection & Test, Internal Audit, and Calibration.
Initiate, track, and document nonconformance reports (NCs).
Create and update Initial Process Flow Diagrams, Control Plans, and Failure Mode and Risk Analyses (FMEA).
Utilize test and measurement equipment such as optical comparators, micrometers, calipers, thread gages, pin gages, height gages, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 requirements.
Complete FAI reports with all dimensions and submit to the Quality Engineer for verification. Ensure PPAP and FAI reports meet customer and/or internal requirements.
Perform gage calibration when required.
Conduct measurements for statistical process control, capability studies, and Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA/Gage R&R) on key characteristics specified by customer prints or specifications.
Perform incoming, in-process, and final audits to ensure products meet engineering specifications.
