Superintendent

Description

• Coordinate the procurement of materials and ensure machinery and equipment are available as needed.
• Prepare and submit project status reports, updating management on the progress, changes, and issues.
• Ensure project construction is in accordance with design specifications, budget, and timelines.
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure adherence to all building requirements.
• Travel to various job sites as required by project demands.
• Supervise and manage all aspects of the construction site.
• Enforce compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
• Manage subcontractors and construction crews, ensuring clear communication and professional conduct.
• Resolve any conflicts that arise and provide solutions to minimize project delays.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical documents.
• Up to 3 weeks of PTO per year.
• Strong knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
• Proficient in using construction management software.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively.
• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role, with at least 5 years in the field.
