Preparation of Tender Specifications & Bid Evaluation of Hydro Turbines & Mechanical Systems
Basic design Calculation of Hydro Turbines, MEP system of hydroelectric power projects.
Create an environment oriented to trust, open communication, creative thinking, and cohesive team effort to maintain healthy group dynamics.
Preparation of Process & Instrumentation Diagrams for mechanical systems like HVAC, Cooling water system, Fire protection system, Drainage & Dewatering system etc.
Review of Computed Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and stress analysis of the hydro equipment components
Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) at vendor works. Assist inspections during testing and evaluate test results of equipment, both if necessary. Also, perform Final inspections at the Manufacturer’s workshop when required by the project.
Exercise technical discretion and decision making; address & resolve site & customer related issues.
Review and preparation of Equipment construction schedule in MS-Project
Review of Detail Engineering drawings & documents of Major Equipment & Mechanical Systems.
Apply all the relevant HSE requirements and criteria in the engineering work and decisions.
Shall be able to resolve any technical issue during execution of project with interfacing functions.
Participation in the meeting with the internal & External Stakeholders
Preparation of Plant layout drawings of Hydro Electric & Pump Turbine Stations

High level of competency in Preparation Design Basis reports, Technical Due Diligence reports and Site Equipment Inspections
Familiar with the content and application of standards, codes, and guidelines as applicable. Knowledge of many basic design techniques and analysis methods
B.Tech / M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Good English in writing & speaking.
Strong knowledge in one or several Hydro products / components/ Systems.
Sound understanding and applying conceptual mechanical knowledge.
Knowledge in PSP project design and selection of machine.
Hand experience to work on SIMSEN software and perform transient analysis
Good Coordination with all other engineering disciplines for interface and other works.
Hands on experience in execution of engineering of hydro projects & detailed know how on hydro Turbine technology & design.
15+ years of experience in designing and execution of hydro projects.
