As a Sales Trainer you will take the lead in supporting your assigned businesses in developing their people in building their key skills and knowledge. Although this role has no line management responsibility first hand experience of managing and delivering training across multiple business units is desired. Our Sales Trainers primarily support the development of our sales, customer service, and office based staff. Covering Sales, Customer Service, management, and compliance skills regionally across the full Persimmon Group.

  • Delivering training within your region and at various locations throughout the UK.
  • Managing and developing specialist training projects within the team.
  • Designing, delivering and carrying out full evaluation of bespoke Sales, Customer Care, and personal development courses in line with the needs of our business and employees.
  • Delivery of the Single Sale Principle training and our Sales advisor pathway programme and our Customer Care academy programme through remote and classroom based modular sessions and 1-2-1 coaching.
  • Organising and managing key programmes particularly management development training and personal skills.
  • Developing a business partner relationship within your region and ensuring that they are kept informed of any key development initiatives.

  • A high standard of inter-personal and communication skills able to influence and engage at all levels.
  • Planning/prioritising and time management skills and the ability to work to deadlines.
  • CIPD or Teaching Qualification: PTLLS / AET or above/equivalent desired but not essential.
  • Experience of delivering qualifications or training specifically in Sales, Customer Care, and Management.
  • A valid UK Driver’s License is required as training delivery will be conducted at various locations throughout the UK.
  • A professional and friendly facilitation style with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
  • Experience of designing and delivering engaging training programmes both face to face and remote.
