The role involves creating, editing, formatting, and binding project documents using company templates, handling vendor invoices, organizing office events, managing incoming and outgoing mail, answering phones, greeting visitors, scheduling meetings and conference rooms, arranging technology and meals, maintaining office supplies and petty cash, and supporting administrative tasks such as onboarding, travel coordination, employee badging, safety equipment distribution, payroll assistance, and job list updates.
The work is performed in a temperature‑controlled professional office with standard equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and scanners. Employees regularly talk, listen, sit, walk, reach, kneel, stoop, crouch, and use hands to operate a keyboard, and may occasionally lift items under 20 pounds.
Required qualifications include an Associate’s degree in Business Administration or related field and at least two years of general administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred qualifications include construction administration background, proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), strong written and verbal communication, detail‑orientation, organizational and confidentiality skills, interpersonal and customer‑service abilities, and the capability to work independently and collaboratively while multitasking.
The essential functions of the position support the Christman Company regional office. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities to perform these duties.
This is a full‑time position with the possibility of extended hours and weekend work. Travel is minimal but may include occasional overnight stays depending on project needs.
