- Perform quality control reviews of design calculations or drawings
- Prepare technical specification sections
- Contribute input to engineering budget and schedule development
- Lead HVAC system design for complex commercial, residential, and data‑center projects
- Conduct energy modeling and analysis to optimize system performance
- Collaborate with architects and other engineering disciplines for integrated design solutions
- Develop and implement sustainable design strategies to achieve energy‑efficiency goals
- Oversee selection and sizing of HVAC equipment and components
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, ASHRAE standards and other regulations
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the HVAC design team
- Participate in client meetings and presentations to convey design concepts and solutions
- Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and verify HVAC installations

- Hold a Master of Engineering (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline
- Possess experience on medium to large retail and hospitality projects
- Be well‑versed in ASHRAE, CIBSE and NFPA standards and regulations
- Have project experience across commercial, residential, datacenter and infrastructure sectors in the USA, Canada and ANZ regions
- Be a senior mechanical engineer specialized in HVAC design
- Hold a Professional Engineering (PE) license (preferred)
- Proficient in HVAC design software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP or similar BIM tools
- Skilled in energy modeling software (e.g., eQUEST, EnergyPlus, IES‑VE)
