Take responsibility for providing property solutions on complex issues, and a range of property transactions including (but not exclusively) acquisitions, leases, surrenders to maximise benefit to Network Rail on land utilisation issues. Decision maker up to an agreed value if transaction.
Deliver a range of professional property services of a complex or substantial nature in relation to the workplace management portfolio for the Routes including (but not exclusive to): acquisition, management, property review and rationalisation leases, surrenders, lettings, surrenders and temporary use of operational land. Anticipate and be responsive to the needs of the business in delivering a range of property services
Actively support the development and implementation of a safety leadership and cultural change programme to support delivery of a safe working environment and a safe rail system.
Take responsibility for managing negotiations of complex and substantial projects to an agreed budget. Manage property service to maximum efficiency, delivering business objectives in terms of cost savings, income generation, asset management, customer service. Represent NR externally as required using technical capability to manage this effectively.
Provide the projects and colleagues with consistent and professional advice in determining the most effective approach to project property requirements and taking accountability for some elements of delivery.
