Global Certification & Regulatory StrategyDrive compliance efforts for FCC Part 15 (Subpart C), ISED Canada, EU RED, EU LVD, EU EMC, and other global frameworks. Stay current on evolving standards and regulatory landscapes to proactively guide product development.
Technical Documentation: Develop and review technical documentation detailing compliance status, test plans, product descriptions, and reporting materials in line with agency and internal requirements.
Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with electrical, mechanical, and software engineering teams to embed compliance considerations into product design. Provide regulatory guidance from concept to launch.
Third-Party Lab OversightManage relationships and activities with NRTLs and accredited labs (e.g., UL, TUV, Intertek). Review and approve test plans, resolve technical issues during testing, and validate reports for compliance submissions.
Pre-Compliance Testing & DebuggingConduct internal EMC, RF, and Safety evaluations using lab equipment (Spectrum analyzers, signal generators, multimeters, leakage current testers, ground bond testers, high-pot testers). Identify design risks early and provide actionable feedback to engineering teams to reduce certification delays.
Documentation & Submission OwnershipPrepare and manage technical files, risk assessments, FCC filings, and Compliance reports to support CE marking and other certifications.
Testing Support & Travel: Provide hands-on support for certification testing as needed, including at international test labs. Occasional travel within LATAM (<25%) is expected to support in-country testing or inspections.
