- Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
- Support testing and commissioning activities (e.g., pressure tests, functional tests).
- Develop and implement mechanical QA/QC plans and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and corrective actions.
- Provide technical guidance and training to site teams on QA/QC procedures.
- Conduct inspections and audits of mechanical systems (HVAC, pipework, public health).
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve quality issues.
- Assist in preparing handover documentation for client acceptance.
- Manage documentation including method statements, QA checklists, and non-conformance reports.

- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and installation standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QA/QC software tools.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in mechanical QA/QC within construction or M&E.
- NVQ Level 3+ in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- SMSTS or CSCS
- Familiarity with UK building regulations and QA/QC frameworks.
