Assist the engineering and project management team with the development of CAD design methodology and practices.
Perform drawing QA/QC on work products from other CADD design and engineering staff.
Oversee and supervise junior CAD staff.
Produce CAD drawings for public infrastructure projects including highways, intersections, bridges, culverts and ancillary features.
Prepare quantity take-offs from CAD and surface model files.
Apply and integrate various client CAD standards into CAD templates.
May develop 3D CAD models for substructures, grading and alignments/profiles.

Associate degree in engineering technology or the equivalent years of experience is required.
Interested in working in a team setting with strong collaboration skills.
Experience with 3D CAD, Point Clouds, and Digital Delivery methods is a plus.

Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
Proficient in one or more of the following CAD platforms: MicroStation, OpenRoads, AutoCAD or Civil 3D is required.
8+ years of CAD design experience for public infrastructure projects and owners is required; NYSDOT and/or NYSTA experience is a plus.
