Required Skills (Technical Competency): M. Tech / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering. 4‑8 years of relevant experience in design & development (end‑to‑end class‑3 medical device preferred) of system/sub‑system.
Expertise in analog design, digital design and power supplies. Design and document development for manufacturability, including drawings, schematics, experiments, test results, PCB layout, etc., and generate failure modes and effects analysis, engineering drawings, manufacturing instructions, and technical input to the operator’s manual.
Experience in reliability engineering fundamentals such as life‑data analysis (Weibull), system reliability modelling, reliability growth analysis, accelerated testing (HALT/HASS), MTBF, and design for reliability (DfR). Should have performed hands‑on EMC, environment, and electrical safety tests.
Ability to independently create BOM aligned with schematics, manage costing with vendors, verify ROHS/REACH components, and handle lifecycle management of key components. Knowledge of IEC 60601 standards and ISO 13485 is preferred.
Work Experience: expertise in analog design, digital design, power supplies, and microcontrollers. EMI/EMC and electrical safety test design and testing knowledge. Accelerated testing (HALT/HASS), MTBF, design for reliability (DfR). Medical device product development experience is a plus.
