Undergraduate Placement Year 2026 – Engineering Electrified Systems Intern

Description

• Working within a project team to assist with various tasks such as drawings, CAD 3D models, ECR and BOMs to ensure the overall project goals are achieved.
• To support the development test team with test regimes of our future products.
• Using knowledge of both mechanical and electrical design to aid with topics ranging from drawing/modifying structures, testing performance of future products, to helping develop electrical harnesses, across a variety of projects.
• Update any reports on the design status on a regular basis.
• Employ sound problem-solving and analysis to help identify issues as well as options for mitigation of issues.

• Be flexible and agile with their approach to completing tasks being able to swap between tasks with ease.
• Be able to take constructive feedback.
• Be meticulous with an eye for detail.
• Have the confidence to keep asking questions until they understand the task.
• Have the confidence to raise their own ideas in the presence of others.
