- Maintain, liaison and attend regular site meetings to anticipate construction work, potential problems, progress, and other job-related conditions.
- Attend pre-construction meetings; check compliance of shop drawings and other construction modifications; measure the quantities and observe quality of construction; prepare daily records of construction work; record and report problems and failures to comply with contract documents and construction management requirements.
- Resident Project Representative shall also review and recommend Contractor’s monthly payment estimates; maintain construction “punch lists:” to be completed or corrected; provide coordination and assistance related to other requirements; supervise subordinate consultant staff and survey crew as appropriate.
- With municipality involvement, negotiate claims for extra work/change orders.
- The projects will require careful coordination with abutters and the client, contract administration and reporting, and coordination with engineers working in support.
- Review contract documents and construction management requirements to identify and report degree of Contractor's compliance.
- Review and evaluate Contractor’s work schedules and updates with the Project Manager.

- Working knowledge and experience with interpreting contract documents, including compliance with prevailing safety regulations
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction related field
- Experience with general construction inspection policies, procedures and administrative requirements
- The candidate needs to provide a flexible working schedule as project needs arise.
- 3+ years of experience with horizontal water/sewer/drain, and related mechanical work
- Ability to work well with contractors, engineers, municipality, and residents
- AutoCAD experience a plus
- Trenchless rehabilitation experience preferred
- Excellent public relation, written and verbal communication skills and organizational/time management skills
- Ability Prepare and maintain electronic field records efficiently and accurately
- Valid driver’s license
- Survey and design engineering experience is a plus
- Some overtime and local travel may be required
