Senior Engineer (Management)-Construction-Developer

This position suits a Senior Engineer who is looking to move more into a management-focused role, supporting the Contracts Manager across two commercial projects. The successful candidate will be less focused on setting-out and tools, and more on coordinating subcontractors, driving programme, and managing technical documentation and compliance.

• Review and ensure compliance with construction drawings, specifications, and regulations.
• Participate in client and design team meetings as required.
• Track and report on progress, delays, and technical issues to senior management.
• Oversee site activity and ensure alignment with project programme and quality standards.
• Act as a key support to the Contracts Manager across both logistics projects.
• Maintain high Health & Safety and environmental standards on site.
• Monitor and maintain site documentation – drawings, RFIs, technical submittals.
• Collaborate with internal commercial and planning teams where required.
• Coordinate subcontractors, ensuring clear communication and smooth workflow on site.
• Contribute to decision-making on value engineering, programme adjustments, and sequencing.
• Work on significant Dublin logistics schemes from start to finish.
• Develop strong project management skills with mentorship and real responsibility.

• Experience on commercial, industrial, logistics or steel frame projects preferred.
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Strong communication, coordination, and organisational skills.
• Comfortable working across multiple projects in the Dublin region.
• 6+ years' site experience (Main Contractor or Developer background).
• Excellent understanding of Irish Building Regulations, BCAR, and site health & safety requirements.

Salary: 85K - 95K + Pension + Bonus
