Production Training Coordinator
Watts Water Technologies
Designs and manufactures water safety, flow control, and energy-efficient solutions for various industries.
Develop and manage training programs for manufacturing staff at Watts facility.
Provide feedback to Human Resources and other Watts leaders on potential training improvements or changes.
Continuously improve training content based on feedback and operational changes.
Schedule training sessions, secure instructors, and manage training logistics.
Audit and improve Procedure Qualification Records (PQR’s) and Welding Procedure Specification (WPS’s).
Maintain training calendars and communicate schedules to relevant teams.
Leveraging SME’s and available training information, assist in creating trainings; such as weld defect training, ASME trainings and other technology related sessions, assisting with facilitation as able.
Create and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) documents throughout different departments.
Maintain productive and collaborative relationships with other Watts employees.
Monitor, create and enter Welder Performance Qualification (WPQ) and Welder Operator Performance Qualification (WOPQ) documents.
Support ASME weld training and testing.
Ensure training programs meet OSHA, ISO, ASME and other regulatory standards.
Monitor training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
Coordinate training programs with local schools and businesses.
Support implementation of new policies, procedures, and requirements related to process improvement.
Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by the Fabrication Specialist or Company management.
Maintain accurate training records and certifications in the Watts Learning Management System (LMS).
Promote a culture of learning and development across the facility.
Working with Subject Matter Experts (SME’s), assist in the design and implementation of onboarding and on-the-job training programs for production, maintenance, and support staff.
Serve as a point of contact for training-related inquiries.
Collaborate with department managers and Human Resources to identify training needs and skill gaps.

Two plus years of experience in training coordination, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to remain seated at a desk or workstation for extended periods.

Experience with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks, including urinalysis, and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.
Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing work priorities and stressful conditions.
Ability to read documents, use a computer, and perform data entry tasks.
