As Build Manager, you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of major projects — from pre-construction involvement and bid support, right through to completion and client handover. You’ll lead on all aspects of site delivery, ensuring safety, quality, and programme excellence across every stage.

  • Manage subcontractors, resources, and on-site operations efficiently
  • Lead and motivate site teams to deliver safely, on time, and to the highest standards
  • Take full ownership of projects from pre-construction through to site handover
  • Provide buildability and logistical input during tender and planning stages
  • Work closely with commercial, design, and pre-construction teams to achieve project goals
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental policies
  • Represent the company at client meetings and progress reviews

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with a collaborative and proactive approach
  • Proven experience as a Project Director or Senior Project Manager
  • Exposure to landmark projects across the North West
  • Experience delivering projects in excess of £50m, ideally up to £80m
  • A background with a Tier 1 or leading regional main contractor
  • A track record of delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality builds
  • Excellent understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and programme control
