Maintain existing internal controls while looking for continuous improvement opportunities.
Maintain various ledgers, journals, registers, and other fiscal records; allocate costs/revenues to appropriate functions; classify expenditures and post them to various accounts as required.
Posting complex entries to general ledger, ensure proper coding and reconciliation of source docs to general ledger. Complex entries include, but are not limited to intercompany accounting, hourly and salary payroll, corporate allocations, accounts payable invoices, accounts receivable invoices, incoming & outgoing payments, depreciation, and amortization.
Sales and Use tax filings.
Reconcile accounting data.
Manage projects and ad-hoc requests as assigned.
Assist with governmental reporting/compliance.
Prepare account reconciliations to ensure account balances are accurately stated.
Prepare and post journal entries.
