Safely operate a water truck on active construction sites, public roadways, and haul routes in accordance with company policies and DOT regulations
Assist project teams as needed or as directed, performing ground support and labor activities when water truck operations are not required; work assignments will not always involve operating the water truck.
Planning with foreman on a daily basis regarding tools, equipment, materials, equipment maintenance, etc.
Professionally represents JHL Constructors and supports company strategic initiatives.
Must maintain a safe and healthy work environment with all employees.
Complete accurate daily Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs), logbooks, and required DOT documentation
Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as refilling water, greasing fittings, cleaning spray bars, and reporting mechanical issues promptly
Fosters positive relationships with project teams, subcontractors, and business partners.
Adheres to safety protocols and company health and safety plans.
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the water truck, including brakes, lights, tires, pumps, hoses, valves, and spray systems
Participates in continuous improvement training programs to enhance skills and promote best practices.
Assists with miscellaneous department duties, administrative tasks, and team initiatives.
