Analyst, Development

Description

• Prepare business plans, including annual operating plans, financial forecasts, strategic plans, and investment recommendations.
• Author internal and external correspondence for transaction and property descriptions, offering memoranda for asset sales and capital raisings, and responses to RFP’s.
• Participate in the underwriting and execution of new investments, as well as assist in the development of investment strategy and portfolio analyses.
• Conduct market assessments, site assessments, zoning assessments, and other due diligence related to site acquisition and development feasibility.
• Assist development project leads in a broad range of acquisition and development activities including site acquisition, financing, government approvals, design and construction monitoring, project branding, sales and marketing strategy and implementation.

Requirements

• Strong quantitative, analytical and financial modeling skills; with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Real estate experience preferred, not required.
• Exceptional time management and prioritization skills to succeed in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects with significant responsibilities and competing priorities.
• Experience in real estate financial modeling from areas such as real estate corporate finance, investment banking, private equity or real estate investment sales, or debt platforms.
• Strong attention to detail with a desire to grow and succeed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, at all levels.
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity or real estate.
