Conduct oneself with an uncompromising commitment to the welfare of our clients and each other. Must act in an ethical, professional and respectful manner at all times.
Review and give feedback on stakeholder drawings.
Provides drawing for own designs and produces sketches to incorporate in drawings by drafters.
Keeps Project Manager informed of work load and any changes in project scope or additional services.
This position is a safety sensitive position. The employee is designated for field work and will, on occasion, attend activities at client sites where they will work in construction,process, packaging, manufacturing, research or other "non-administrative" areas
Organizes and maintains project files. Maintains a neat and organized work area which allows efficient access to information required by other team members.
Researches design options and document findings for Project Designer/Engineer.
Develop and design control system architecture, control philosophy, instrument datasheets/lists and cable schedules with support from a Senior Engineer
Selects equipment based on recommendations of Project Designer/Engineer and fill out equipment schedules.
Display creativity and innovation by continually working to improve solutions, tools, methods and service delivery system.
Prepare typical I&C deliverable packages based on project requirements e.g. IFR, IFI, IFD, IFQ, IFP, etc. with support from a Senior Engineer
Assures that drawings and designs are in accordance with company production and design standards.
Actively collaborate with the process design and project teams to support execution of successful project studies
Provides information to Project Designer/Engineer for incorporation into specifications.

Experience in any or all of the following but not essential: ATEX, Motor controls, CAD, PLC, GMP, DCS, Comms/Interfaces, Interlocks, SCADA, Block/Loop/Wiring diagrams, P&IDs, AF&IDSs and SOOs.
BSc/Beng (Hons). Preference will be given for demonstrable experience in AI&C design experience.
General knowledge of system design and applicable codes in specific discipline related area (Mechanical, Structural, Piping, Electrical or Process).
Expertise in computer operation for engineering design programs and computer aided drafting.
Verifiable evidence of the ongoing CPD is encouraged.
Demonstrate collaboration with other engineering disciplines e.g. HVAC, Process, Electrical & BIM.
Familiar with code issues and ability to ask general questions would be advantageous.
Understands and applies UK, EU Standard Regulation
