The Assistant Maintenance Manager supports the Maintenance Manager by maintaining and enhancing the value of an assigned community. This role handles routine and emergency maintenance tasks and steps in as the Maintenance Manager when needed.
A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with at least one year of multifamily maintenance experience or equivalent training. EPA certification is required, CPO is preferred, and candidates should have basic Microsoft Office skills and a valid driver’s license.
The position requires physical ability to walk, stand, climb, lift up to 50 lb, and use maintenance tools and computer equipment. Work is performed onsite, often outdoors and in confined or elevated spaces, adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
