The position involves partnering with Executive Leadership Team members and divisional General Managers to develop communication strategies aligned with business, cultural, and change objectives. You will produce high‑quality materials and events such as executive emails, Town Halls, frontline updates, Empower articles, and Viva Engage content, while providing strategic advice and coaching to senior leaders on messaging, tone, change communications, and issues or crisis management.
A key part of the role is to ensure divisional communications are planned, integrated, and aligned with the enterprise‑wide communication strategy, governance, and reporting frameworks. You will establish and maintain communication systems and processes that enable timely and consistent employee messaging, and continuously monitor effectiveness to identify improvement opportunities.
The ideal candidate has proven experience in internal or corporate communications within a large, complex organization, preferably in the energy sector, and a strong track record of advising senior leaders. Excellent written and verbal skills, confident presentation abilities, and the capacity to translate technical information into engaging content are essential, as is the ability to manage competing priorities, work calmly under pressure, and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
