Workday Delivery Director

Description

The Workday Delivery Director role sits within Guidehouse’s SaaS/PaaS/Cloud Consulting practice. The position supports up to 25 % travel and requires the ability to obtain a Federal or DoD Public Trust clearance. As part of an energized advisory team, the director helps clients transform their financial and human‑capital processes using Workday.

• Lead Workday deployments, overseeing all delivery efforts.
• Advise clients on cloud computing systems and service‑based technologies.
• Review, plan, and support end‑to‑end HR and CRM system implementations.
• Create, review, and guide digital roadmaps from conception through post‑implementation assessment.
• Design and implement work processes and methodologies to support deployments.
• Provide expert‑level knowledge within a specific job area and understand cross‑practice impacts.

Requirements

Guidance and leadership are provided across the full project lifecycle, from initial assessments through to post‑implementation reviews. The role demands a minimum of ten years of Workday delivery experience in the public sector (or equivalent experience), strong project‑management expertise, and the ability to design and implement robust deployment methodologies.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust clearance (active preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years (or Master’s with 8 years) delivering Workday solutions for public‑sector injuries, or equivalent 14 years of experience.
• Strong consulting expertise, project‑management knowledge, and ability to drive results.
• Willingness to travel up to 25 % with a focus on remote or on‑site support for key milestones.
• Experience leading Workday deployments as a Delivery Director or similar role.
• Master’s degree.
• Workday Project Management certification.
