The Janitor is responsible for keeping the workplace clean, organized, and disinfected. This includes routine cleaning of interior surfaces, floors, furnishings, restrooms, and handling waste while ensuring cleaning supplies are stocked.
Employees must follow safety and precaution rules, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, report unsafe conditions or maintenance needs, maintain a cleaning log, and close doors at the end of the night shift.
Successful candidates demonstrate consistent attendance, reliability in following instructions and meeting commitments, and a strong safety mindset, using equipment and materials properly.
The work environment may expose employees to moving mechanical parts, fumes, chemicals, outdoor weather, electrical hazards, and moderate noise, with reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.
