Capturing feedback and issues from Operational Safety, Compliance and Quality audits, addressing any non-conformances, you will deliver excellent customer service to all aspects of your operation.
Providing excellent customer service, value for money, maximise performance and operational efficiency, you will assist in the delivery of Plant and Overhead Line Inspection & Maintenance, Capital Work Programmes, Faults and Emergency works on the Transmission system.
Ensuring compliance with ESQC Regulations and internal inspection policies and procedures, including Asset-01-021, Asset-01-029, OHL-03-103 & TRANS-03-004, you will be technically innovative to improve network resilience for customers, ensuring Transmission assets meet prescribed capability and performance expectations.
Managing direct staff, including performance management, objective setting and day to day planning and co-ordination of work deliverables, you will manage the development of assigned Trainees including Apprentices, Skills Seekers and Adult Craft Trainees.
When required, you will provide Supervisory cover for Team Leaders.
You will hold responsibility for driving quality and performance by managing Contractors and overseeing external teams responsible for essential maintenance and protective treatments on high-voltage Transmission towers
Resource planning and directing staff working on the Transmission system, you will be responsible for providing accurate reporting on inspections to the Lead Engineer, identifying issues that need immediate attention and hand over to the correct people for resolution whilst liaising with asset protection and customer enquiries.
Actively promoting and striving to deliver customer service standards within your area of responsibility, you will be accountable for tasks and activities, contributing to the achievement of team goals by providing support, advice, encouragement, clear direction and coaching when appropriate.
With knowledge of Health & Safety processes, you will be able to demonstrate previous experience of outage and resource planning, being familiar using IT systems and capable of embracing new technologies, working to provide solutions to allow efficient Inspection and data capture of Asset Health.
Educated to ONC level or possessing relevant business experience, you will be able to demonstrate your technical competence in relation to Transmission Operation and Maintenance activities.
With a full valid driving licence and Site Management Safety Training / Safety Passport, you will hold previous experience in managing work programmes, resource planning, leading and motivating a team and possess knowledge of Transmission plant and equipment.
