The Product Owner & Business Head – KhetPe will own the complete product, business, and growth charter for SwanSat Group’s AgTech vertical — KhetPe. This role combines product ownership, P&L leadership, and strategic execution, ensuring that KhetPe delivers measurable impact for farmers, partners, and government stakeholders.
As both a Product Owner and Business Head, the incumbent will define product strategy and roadmap, oversee development and delivery, manage farmer and partner acquisition, and ensure business profitability and compliance. The role demands a blend of hands-on product management, market understanding, and leadership excellence to scale KhetPe into India’s most trusted precision-farming platform.
- Gather field feedback through surveys, interviews, and analytics to inform continuous product improvement.
- Ensure documentation excellence through PMO/BA teams: Confluence PRDs/BRDs, RTMs, and release notes.
- Develop and execute the annual operating plan and quarterly business targets.
- Drive farmer success stories, testimonials, and measurable field-level impact metrics.
- Negotiate commercial terms, SLAs, and data-sharing agreements with institutional partners.
- Translate market insights and farmer needs into epics, user stories, and PRDs; maintain a prioritized JIRA backlog with clear acceptance criteria.
- Lead quarterly business reviews and ensure forecast accuracy and financial discipline.
- Design and execute programs that enhance farmer stickiness and recurring engagement.
- Define and own KhetPe’s product vision, quarterly roadmap, and success metrics aligned with SwanSat Group’s AgTech strategy.
- Establish CRM and analytics discipline across sales, ops, and CS teams; run weekly performance reviews.
- BhoomiSure (InsurTech): Automates insurance claims through satellite data, ensuring fair, instant payouts.
- Design and implement pricing and packaging models; monitor unit economics, CAC/LTV, and payback periods.
- Work closely with Group CFO, SatAITech, and Platform teams for cost optimization and scalability.
- Lead enterprise (B2B) and government (B2G) partnerships for KhetPe adoption at scale.
- Collaborate with BhoomiSure and SwanSat verticals for integrated product offerings.
- Champion intuitive UX for rural users — vernacular interfaces, low-bandwidth performance, and trust-driven onboarding.
- Own full P&L, including revenue, margins, and cash collections; drive top-line growth and profitability.
- Partner with engineering, design, and SatAITech teams to deliver data-driven, AI-powered features (weather, irrigation, yield, soil health).
- Ensure full compliance with data privacy, licensing, agronomy, and government norms.
- Represent KhetPe in stakeholder meetings, industry events, and public-private partnership forums.
- Run A/B tests and pilots to improve activation, retention, and user satisfaction.
- Build and scale farmer acquisition across FPOs, sugar mills, agri-input companies, NGOs, and digital platforms.
- Align business, technical, and field priorities; remove blockers and ensure on-time delivery.
- Deploy dashboards and BI tools for visibility into funnels, cohorts, revenue, and operations.
- Build and oversee field operations — training, demos, onboarding, vernacular support, and last-mile service delivery.
- Lead a cross-functional team across Product, Sales, Field Ops, Customer Success, and Marketing.
- Monitor activation, retention, and engagement metrics (MAU/WAU, NPS, cohort health).

2. Business Leadership & P&L Management
- Strong people manager; builds motivated, high-output teams.
- Analytical yet empathetic; able to balance business metrics with field realities.
- Data analytics: funnel analysis, cohort metrics, Mixpanel/Amplitude/GA4, and dashboarding.
- Hands-on experience in field operations, FPO engagement, and product feedback loops.
- User research, prototyping (Figma/Miro), and A/B testing methodologies.
- Excellent communicator — aligns technical and non-technical teams seamlessly.
- Familiarity with satellite and AI-driven advisories, soil data, and precision-farming tech.
- Proven record of building and scaling farmer-facing or field-intensive technology products.
- High integrity, resilience, and adaptability.
- 15 – 20 years of experience across Product Management, Business Leadership, or AgTech operations, with at least 3+ years in mobile product ownership and 5+ years in P&L or vertical leadership.

- Understanding of government schemes, CSR programs, and procurement processes.
