Supporting and championing environmental, health and safety sustainability initiatives that drive value creation for our business units and various stakeholders.
Perform Instructor Led Trainings (ILT) for employees, either new hires, supervisory trainings or any craft trainings for site specific job site requirements, ie. confined space, LOTO, fall protection, etc.
Ensure company-wide compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and state/local regulations.
Review Job Safety Plans (JSPs) for correct information, alignment of job steps matching the hazards that match the mitigations, and completion.
Drive craft involvement of the Employee Intervention System (EISs), supervisors' involvement of the Supervisor Observation System (SOSs) and managers involvement of the Management Safety Reviews (MSRs) to help detect and track trends that would work toward eliminating at risk conditions on any job sites.
Identify hazards at Branch/Yard/Jobsites and implement engineering / administrative controls to minimize risks.
Develop, implement, and continuously improve EHS programs, policies, and procedures.
Lead initiatives to reduce incidents, enhance safe work practices, and reinforce safety culture.
Support Area and Regional EHS Leadership and Corporate teams in the navigation of regulatory compliance inspections.

Role requires the ability to travel 50-75% of a typical month in support of the Mobile, and Pensacola areas.
OSHA 10, OSHA 30, also preferably OSHA 510.
Ideal candidate has 4-8 years of Field Safety, Health and Environmental experience or other relevant experience.
Strong organization, presentation, and collaborative skills/attitude.
Experience with EHS related software platforms, data management systems, Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint/SharePoint/Teams.
