  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on our organization.
  • Help with tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
  • Collaborate with teams including Accounting, Legal, and Treasury.
  • Lead tax accounting support and ongoing training to all regional ETR Preparers.
  • Review journal entries to reflect income tax expense, uncertain tax positions, deferred tax positions, and other related income tax matters in the company's U.S. and consolidated financial accounting records.
  • Preparation and review of the quarterly and annual global tax reporting, deferred tax assets and liabilities, valuation allowance, SEC tax footnotes and disclosures.
  • Work with controllers and corporate planning groups to ensure accuracy of the forecasted global effective tax rate (ETR) and cash tax model.
  • Perform oversight and administration of OneSource Tax Provision Software including identification and implementation of opportunities for process improvements and technology solutions.
  • Maintain and improve internal controls related to income tax processes.
  • Support tax planning projects and identify opportunities for tax savings.

  • Experience with the impact of taxes on the financial statements.
  • A bachelor's degree required with at least 10 plus years of accounting for income taxes, ASC 740 income tax provision experience.
  • Professional experience with OneSource tax provision or other equivalent tax provision software.
  • Experience with the tax accounting impact of complex tax transactions recommended.
  • CPA is desired.
  • Previous experience with ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle, and accounting consolidation tools such as HFM is beneficial.
  • Experience working in a large multinational publicly held company.
