Tasks

We are seeking a senior-level Director, IT Strategy to lead the delivery and growth of strategic technology advisory services for a portfolio of clients. This role functions as a high-impact advisor and program leader—working closely with clients to improve their IT strategy, governance, operations, and transformation programs. -Drive the development and execution of technology roadmaps that align with each client’s business goals -Participate in and help guide internal and client-side project governance processes, including project advisory boards -Oversee delivery of IT and cybersecurity-related programs, ensuring high-quality outcomes and continuous value delivery -Collaborate with internal teams to improve service delivery frameworks, tools, and methodologies -Provide regular reporting and insights to both internal stakeholders and client executives -Lead and manage a portfolio of client engagements focused on IT strategy, digital transformation, and operational improvement -Mentor and support junior team members, fostering knowledge sharing and skills development -Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform and evolve client solutions -Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance on IT planning, risk management, infrastructure, and modernization

What You Bring

Ideal for someone with strong consulting experience and a deep understanding of IT operations, this position blends leadership, technical insight, and client relationship management in a dynamic and evolving environment. -Ability to manage multiple clients and prioritize needs in a fast-paced, service-driven environment -Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field (MBA a plus) -10+ years of experience in IT consulting or senior-level technology roles within mid-sized organizations -Relevant certifications such as PMP, ITIL, TOGAF, or CMC -Proficiency in developing presentations, documentation, and strategic planning artifacts -Proven ability to lead complex IT initiatives and act as a strategic partner to executive stakeholders -Strong understanding of IT service delivery, governance, and digital transformation principles -Comfortable engaging in pre-sales, thought leadership, and client education activities -Exceptional communication skills—able to bridge the gap between technical and business audiences -Experience with tools such as ERP systems, SharePoint, or business intelligence platforms -Industry knowledge in sectors such as mining, finance, hospitality, or similar is considered an asset -2–3 years in program or project leadership, ideally in a client-facing or advisory capacity
