Construction COE will participate to key Quality and Continuous improvement initiatives. As such Construction COE Leader shall proactively lead improvement initiatives and Lean actions
Ensure proper construction expertise level to execute on projects scopes assigned, with proper level of EHS, quality and within budget. Manage competencies development actions for COE team
Technical analysis of contract requirements
Ensure proper team development plan including coaching for leadership skills & construction expertise
Builds and leads Construction COE teams to ensure proper performance with the respect of policies and procedures
Preparing standard ITO documents packages as part of Reference Solutions
Preparing document package for offer submission: technical offer, schedule, Method statements for Construction & Commissioning works, Commissioning and Test Plans, etc…
Review of Engineering drawings for Constructability Reviews, review of sub-contractors, partners, and suppliers construction & commissioning documentation
Deliver As-Built documentation
Participate to CW packages drawings and/or LV cabling drawings as relevant
Works closely with Global Construction Leader, Regions and HR to define COE needs in terms of sizing and skills. Actively manages the ramp-up of COE team according to defined plan, play an active role in identifying and hiring the right profiles for Construction COE roles
Establishing accurate should cost for construction scope
Actively and routinely promote the identification of hazards and near misses to the construction team
Participates to key initiatives aiming at improving processes and projects SQDC such as definition and documentation of HVDC Reference Solutions, KAIZEN weeks, etc…
When additional standards and processes (like local regulations of the destination Country) are applicable, ensures that this is properly identified and followed
Review and update as necessary Red Mark drawings
Preparing standard OTR documents packages as part of Reference Solutions
Ensures that COE team is aware of applicable Construction processes and that they are properly applied
Organizes the work, allocates resource to the different scopes of works assigned to Construction COE according to schedule, agreed contract delivery dates and team competencies. If/when applicable, uses ServiceMax for resource planning.

Strong Leaderships skills to work in matrix organization with experience of international management
Experience in HVDC is highly recommended
10 years of experience in EPC/turnkey projects in engineering, construction or project management
Able to work in a multi-cultural environment being the point of contact between Construction COE and Regions Projects and Construction teams
