- Monitor bid pipelines and report progress metrics to leadership
- Work closely with design, commercial, and operations teams to ensure estimates align with delivery strategies
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, quotations, and tender proposals for window, door, curtain walling, and associated glazing works
- Analyse project drawings, specifications, and scope to capture all costs (materials, labour, subcontractors, plant, etc.)
- Conduct site visits and surveys as needed to validate assumptions and measurements
- Produce take-offs, rate buildups, and risk allowances
- Maintain estimating databases, price libraries, and historical cost data
- Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to source competitive rates
- Support pre-contract negotiation and contract award processes

They are now seeking an Estimator to join the team, based in Tamworth (with working from home and on-site travel across the region).
- Strong knowledge of glazing systems, profiles, aluminium / PVC window and door assemblies
- Skilled in quantification, rate buildups, take-offs, risk assessments
- Experience in curtain walling and façade systems
- Ability to work from home and travel to client sites in and around Tamworth / Midlands area
- Excellent communication, organisation, and analytical skills
- Ability to read drawings, specifications, and architectural details
- Good commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Understanding of thermal, structural, and performance glazing standards
- Familiarity with estimating software / BIM models
- Exposure to a broad range of projects and façade systems
- Experience in commercial contracts and supply chain management
- Proven experience as an Estimator in glazing, fenestration, windows/doors or curtain walling (or related façade trades)
- Opportunity to work in a technically specialist glazing and curtain walling company
- Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum
- Hybrid working (home and site visits)
