Statutory Compliance Technician

Description

• Carry out day to day administration of contracts including contract payments and management of operational relationships.
• Undertaking of auditing of contractors and site compliance.
• Work with supply chain, engineering and operational teams to optimise and innovate contracts and contractor performance.
• Coordinate and supervise as required statutory inspection contractors to accomplish statutory inspections on YWS assets in a safe, timely & efficient manner.
• Attend contract meetings to ensure adherence to KPI's & SLAs as agreed. Provide challenge to the contractor for areas of non-conformity.
• Develop and maintain effective internal and external relationships.
• Ensure timely notification and resolution of defects found with operational teams, maintenance teams and specialist subcontractors through use of work management systems.

If successful for the role, you will be required to undergo pre-employment checks that will include a Basic Disclosure Check, carried out through a Third-Party Company, prior to commencing employment. Depending on the role, you may also be required to go through the security vetting process for either a Counter Terrorist Check or Security Check clearance.

• Confident in the use of different IT systems: SAP, Microsoft packages, etc.
• Current valid driving licence
• Ability to work confidently as part of a team or as an individual.
• Excellent personal standards of health and safety and confident in challenging others to perform at the correct standard.
• Knowledge of ACoP L8, PUWER, Fire, LOLER and COSHH regulations.
• Previous experience in contract management of statutory or specialist contracts.
• Previous experience gained within the water or waste water sectors or within the broader utilities, process or manufacturing industry.
• Experience of monitoring compliance, service, value and quality KPIs
• IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH General Certificate qualification
• Experience of interrogating asset data analyse and interpret this to produce reports and trend analysis.
