Lease Analyst

Description

MRI Software is hiring a Lease Analyst for its Gurgaon office. In this senior role you will oversee lease data abstraction and management, ensuring agreements are accurate and compliant. You will work closely with both local and global teams to deliver high‑quality lease data support and drive process improvements.

The position involves collaborating with business leaders across North America, EMEA, and APAC to maintain timely lease data, updating management systems, and tracking critical terms such as rent escalations and renewals. You will also review lease documents for risks and opportunities, contribute to process and training enhancements, and support special lease‑related projects while ensuring adherence to internal policies and external regulations.

• Lead abstraction and analysis of complex lease agreements.
• Collaborate with local and global business leaders to ensure timely lease data management.
• Maintain and update lease management systems, tracking terms, escalations, and renewals.
• Review lease documents to identify risks, discrepancies, and improvement opportunities.
• Support development of lease abstraction processes, procedures, and training programs.
• Optimize lease data management solutions to improve performance and productivity.
• Provide insights into regional and global lease management needs.
• Assist in special lease‑related projects ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

Requirements

Candidates should have at least two years of experience in lease abstraction or administration, strong proficiency with lease management SaaS platforms like MRI, and the ability to interpret legal lease language. Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills are required, along with a detail‑oriented, customer‑centric mindset and experience mentoring junior analysts. A bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, or a related field is required; a master’s degree or relevant certifications are a plus.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in lease abstraction, administration, or a related field.
• Proficient with lease management SaaS platforms such as MRI.
• Ability to interpret legal lease language and extract key terms.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration abilities.
• Experience training and mentoring junior lease analysts.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, real estate, or related field; master’s a plus.
