Challenge marking methodologies across the Group to ensure commercially meaningful reports
Use initiative and lateral thinking to identify gaps in and develop/implement reports to increase transparency for stakeholders in the business
Serving as a member of the Risk Committee; challenging the Group’s trading limits and leading quarterly meetings as Chair
Collaborate with Business Analysts to drive the development and implementation of the TriplePoint ETRM system
Supporting the Market Risk team to deliver accurate and timely daily risk reports, dashboards and commentary
Ad hoc tasks as required to support the Risk team and the wider business
Ownership of consolidated Group position and MTM reports which transparently summarise all market risk exposures arising from the business’s trading and hedging activities
Collaboration with Trading and Commercial teams
Control mind set, demonstrate the confidence to challenge decisions and hold up the mirror to business activities ensuring they are transparently reported
Quality and fair PRP performance reviews and ensure the write-ups on time
Working closely with Finance managers to facilitate and support the reconciliation of middle office P&L figures with the monthly financial accounts

Accounting qualification
Proficiency in using MS Excel to an advanced level
Experience of working with an Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) system (preferably Triple Point CXL)
Strong commercial acumen and ability to interpret market developments quickly.
Effective communication with everyone in the team - listening, inspiring and flexing approach as appropriate
Proven management experience in a similar role
