The Head of Market Development & Specification for North America will spearhead the adoption of low‑carbon concrete by educating and influencing decision‑makers involved in specifications and approvals. Success will be measured by the uptake of CarbonCure technology and increased production volumes driven by DOT approvals, specification acceptance, and stakeholder demand from architects, engineers, specifiers, and large end‑users.
In this externally focused role, the leader will engage regulators and authorities to secure approvals, expand jurisdictional adoption, and influence design professionals to request CarbonCure concrete early in project lifecycles. They will also cultivate relationships with owners, developers, and hyperscale operators, while collaborating closely with the sales team to turn project wins into long‑term partnerships and serve as a senior ambassador for the company.
Ideal candidates bring over ten years of experience in infrastructure, construction materials, or engineering, with a proven ability to shape markets through specifications, policy, or owner requirements. They possess strong technical aptitude, executive‑level communication skills, deep knowledge of the construction supply chain, and a track record of navigating long sales and approval cycles, with added advantage if they have experience in data‑center or sustainability initiatives and can travel up to 40% domestically.
Concrete That Matters: CarbonCure Technologies is on a mission to empower cement and concrete producers with technologies and strategies to achieve the industry's net zero commitment by 2050. Across the global concrete industry, CarbonCure is scaling an integrated, drop-in solution, offering concrete producers a suite of hardware, software and services to increase the cement efficiency of their concrete products, reduce their production costs and meet demand for green building materials without compromising performance. CarbonCure’s technologies are retrofitted into concrete plants without disrupting operations and seamlessly integrate with existing batching processes. CarbonCure injects captured CO₂ across the concrete manufacturing process, with commercialized solutions for ready mix and precast concrete. Upon injection, CO₂ immediately mineralizes in concrete, becoming permanently embedded. Even if a structure is later demolished, the nanoparticles of mineralized carbon will not return to the atmosphere. This mineralization also enables producers to reduce the amount of cement needed for each truckload of concrete. A Carbon XPRIZE Grand Prize winner, Cleantech 100 Hall of Fame Company and a category leader in carbon utilization technologies for lower carbon concrete, CarbonCure delivers a true win-win, with environmental benefits for the world and economic benefits for concrete producers in one of the world's hardest-to-decarbonize industries.
