Underwriting Excellence: Independently underwrite, assess, and manage a portfolio of accounts, including performance and non-performance bonds.
Communication & Collaboration: Communicate the company's mission and objectives with confidence, professionalism, and empathy. Maintain and manage workflow with agency representatives, meeting all company standards and expectations.
Financial Management: Participate in the premium budget and expense process for the profit center.
Travel & Development: Plan and execute regular travel to enhance new and existing producer and account relationships. Prepare and share meeting agendas, obtain follow-up documentation, evaluate accounts, and submit detailed submission memos for credit approval.
Documentation & Compliance: Ensure accurate underwriting documentation and adherence to documentation standards. Maintain the accuracy and integrity of all information in account files.

Analytical Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial statements, bond forms, contract documents, and government regulations.
Educational Background: Minimum 4-year degree or related industry experience. Business/Finance/Accounting majors preferred, but not required.
