Review construction documents and drawings in order to minimize issues and to reduce the potential for extra work orders during construction.
Assist the Project Administrator with the review of contract submissions (critical path schedules, RFI’s, etc.)
Document all activities on site during duration of the contract and prepare inspection reports.
Monitoring and inspecting the Work Zone Traffic Control in accordance with contract documents.
Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications.
Oversee, document, review, and assess contractor’s compliance with contractual requirements.
Take accurate and detailed measurements of all work performed by the contractor to ensure accurate payments.
Observing general job safety practices.

High School diploma or equivalent plus (1+) years of experience in construction inspection, two years of which shall have been in bridge/or roadway construction inspection.
In addition to the position skills and experience requirements (Teamwork, leadership, Communication) are essential in order to deliver an A plus product to our client.
Applicant must have a valid driver’s license and clear motor vehicle report
Advanced Maintenance of Traffic
Experience as an Inspector on Florida Department of Transportation projects in the Tampa/Orlando, FL area.
Able to work a shift schedule and/or flexible schedule as required to support the workload.
Able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to communicate and work in a team-oriented environment.
CTQP Earthwork Inspector Level I & II.
Inspection and testing of soils, concrete, steel and masonry materials for road and bridge projects. Experience with FDOT construction and specifications desired.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with a heavy emphasis on Excel, Word, FDOT Sites.
CTQP Asphalt Roadway Inspector level I
