The Business Financial Manager will partner with program leadership to review funding documents and provide financial management and programmatic support for DARPA. The role involves analytical, technical, and administrative duties across one or more phases of the budgetary process, working within a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary team of technical experts, analysts, contract administrators, and government partners.
The position is classified under the Financial Management (FIN) job family. Travel is required up to 10% and an active Secret clearance is mandatory.
Required qualifications include an active and maintained Secret clearance and a bachelor’s degree. Candidates must have at least four years of budget or financial analysis experience, one year of program or project management experience, and experience creating schedules, tracking financial commitments, handling solicitations and contracting actions, and generating MIPR and Purchase Request documents.
Preferred qualifications include a finance‑focused bachelor’s degree, two or more years managing DoD programs, familiarity with the DAI financial system, and experience supporting defense R&D programs.
