• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes and assess technical and commercial compliance.
• Collaborate with project teams and clients to provide clarifications, input into methodologies, and support Early Contractor Involvement (ECI).
• Prepare detailed electrical estimates for LV, instrumentation, controls, and communications scopes, interpreting drawings, specifications, and client requirements.
• Contribute to post-tender handovers, incorporating lessons learned to continuously improve estimating processes and project outcomes.
• Analyse project documentation to identify risks, key cost drivers, and value engineering opportunities to support accurate and competitive pricing.
• Develop BOQs, cost schedules, and tender documentation while ensuring estimates reflect current market conditions and industry standards.

Due to continued growth and exciting new projects, we have a newly created opportunity for an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our Subiaco team. This opportunity plays a key role in driving operational excellence for our national operations.

• Strong knowledge of LV electrical systems, installation methodologies, and industry standards.
• Skilled in interpreting drawings, specifications, and technical data to develop accurate estimates.
• 5–10+ years’ experience in electrical estimating or electrical trade/engineering within heavy industry (Mining, O&G, Energy, Infrastructure).
• Proficient in estimating software, MS Office, and project documentation systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and contribute to competitive, compliant tender submissions.
• Commercially aware with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
