  • Conduct daily vehicle defect inspections.
  • Provide clear explanations of faults and repair processes to managers and colleagues.
  • Perform diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on RRV’s, crawler cranes, and associated attachments.
  • Dismantle faulty components, repair or replace them as needed, and reassemble.
  • Participate in major repairs and rebuilds of machinery.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and company vehicles.
  • Adhere strictly to Health and Safety regulations, risk assessments, and company safety protocols.
  • Ensure all tasks are carried out in a safe and compliant manner.
  • Conduct routine maintenance to ensure equipment complies with Tier 4 / Stage V standards.
  • Travel to various sites across the UK for equipment breakdown repairs.
  • Inspect equipment for defects and carry out necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Complete detailed electronic work reports, including inspections, repairs, and services.
  • Test equipment post-repair to ensure functionality meets quality standards.

  • Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight stays when necessary.

  • Hours of work are typically 7:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday with paid breaks, however flexibility is required as the company works nights and weekends as well.
