Junior User Interface Designer

Description

The purpose of hiring a UI Designer is to strengthen the software design team by ensuring visually refined, user-centric interfaces that align with the Keus design language. This role will focus on translating concepts and wireframes into high-fidelity screens, maintaining the design system, and collaborating closely with UX designers and developers to deliver seamless, consistent, and high-quality user experiences across Keus smart home products.

• Actively contributes to improving and maintaining the design system.
• Maintains consistent spacing, typography, and component usage across designs.
• Collaborate closely with developers to maintain design precision and motion accuracy.
• Ensure visual and interaction consistency across all products.
• Translate wireframes and concepts into pixel-perfect, high-fidelity UI screens and flows.
• Maintain and update the Keus Design System under the Visual Designer’s guidance.
• Support the UX Designer with prototypes, components, and user flows.
• Prepare design assets, specifications, and documentation for development handoff.
• Effectively incorporates feedback and delivers iterations within tight timelines.

Requirements

• Demonstrates accuracy and completeness in developer handoffs.
• Adaptability: Comfortable with feedback, quick iterations, and evolving priorities.
• Collaboration: Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams in an agile setup.
• Work efficiently and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, iterative design environment.
• Tool Proficiency: High proficiency in Figma — components, auto-layout, variants, and libraries.
• Consistently delivers high-quality, visually refined screens aligned with the Keus design language.
• Smooth collaboration with UX designers and developers, leading to minimal rework.
• Visual Design Craftsmanship: Strong eye for detail, layout, typography, and color harmony.
• Strong portfolio with relevant work
• Visual Consistency: Commitment to creating cohesive, polished, and user-centered interfaces.
• 1-2 years of experience in Visual/UI Design.
