Under direct supervision, the employee assists Equipment Operators with tasks that keep the transfer station clean, safe, and presentable for employees and customers. The role supports site appearance and safety while enhancing the overall work environment.
- Direct traffic at the work site
- Perform random load checks according to safety policies and procedures
- Conduct daily preventative maintenance on the water truck as required
- Haul water for dust control
- Maintain site landscaping
- Report any worker‑public safety issues or vehicle malfunctions
- Monitor activities and persons on or around the site and report unusual activity to a supervisor
- Follow proper lifting and grasping procedures
- Interact with customers and the public in a friendly, service‑oriented manner
- Attend weekly/monthly safety and operations meetings
- Participate in work‑related training
