Assist resident engineers in the coordination of labor forces, including but not limited to MTA C&D Force Account departments, outside utilities and agencies.
Ensure that daily work plans and related shop drawings provided by the Developer are approved and in place prior to the start of related work activities.
Compile and maintain a computer based digital photo record of construction progress and activities.
Assist in the preparation of concurrence forms, memos to the Developer and subconsultants, and any related documents.
Provide miscellaneous project estimating services (and estimate review services).
Provide estimating, budgeting, scope development, and change order support to the MTA.
Write letters / memos, meeting minutes, and develop written reports as needed.
Validate and monitor MTA C&D Force Accounts and Third-Party Consultant / Developer invoices for payment in accordance with progress of the work.
Assist MTA C&D in managing various progress status meetings.
Coordinate reviews and arrange meetings as required with the EMD, User Department, Engineering Department, and other railroad departments / outside agencies to track, compile, and return submittal review comments within the specified review periods.
Evaluate and prepare recommendations to MTA C&D regarding sequence of field and/or construction activities and means and methods of construction when working in a railroad environment.
Ensure construction is performed in accordance with MTA C&D standards and OSHA safety practices. Issue notices, warnings and/or Stop Work Orders to the Developer in the event that safety regulations are violated.
Distribute and review all Developer submittal / deliverables including but not limited to the Detailed Contract Schedule, DBE updates, daily reports, requisitions for payment, payroll reports, work plans, RFIs, design documents, product data and shop drawings.
Document all critical issues, changes, and relevant information throughout the duration of the PMC Contract Term.
Generate reports to the MTA on the Developer Project status.
Perform document control through established software and databases.
