The Administrative Clerk, PRN provides clerical and administrative support across various departments, performing varied and moderately complex typing and office duties that require independent judgment in work methods and procedures. The role involves supporting day‑to‑day operations to ensure smooth departmental functioning.
The position requires maintaining the confidentiality and security of records, overseeing incoming and outgoing mail, and communicating effectively with staff, inmates, and visitors while responding to verbal and written inquiries.
Applicants must hold a high school diploma or GED, have at least two years of full‑time clerical or administrative experience, and possess a valid driver’s license; additional education in office administration may substitute for up to one year of experience, and candidates must be at least 18 years old.
