- Optimize biweekly/monthly work orders to achieve 100% equipment utilization and meet production goals.
- Generate production sequencing plans for Weaving, Batt Making, and Needling departments.
- Manage daily work in the Quill Winding department based on weaving needs.
- Monitor daily productivity and adjust work orders to align with sales while preserving monthly targets.
- Forecast raw material requirements, maintain safe stock levels, and coordinate supplier orders.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase plant throughput and reduce non‑value‑added time.
- Use data analytics tools to create reports on performance and capacity utilization for management.
- Collaborate with global planners, plant managers, supervisors, and technical managers on production requirements.

The Production Value Stream Engineer position in Starkville, MS plays a pivotal role in understanding manufacturing capabilities and creating streamlined production plans for each piece of equipment to maximize resource efficiency. The role requires deep knowledge of industrial engineering principles such as production planning, forecasting, inventory management, lean methodologies, and data analytics.
Ideal candidates hold a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or a related field, bring several years of experience in production scheduling, and demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills. A proactive, problem‑solving mindset and familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or SAP are valued.
- Balance warp‑out on weaving looms to limit more than one loom warping out per week.
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 4 years of production scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with data analytics tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic production environment.
- Problem‑solving mindset with a proactive approach to challenges.
- Lean or Six Sigma certification at any level.
- Experience with SAP is a plus.
