Mortenson is hiring a Laborer Journeyman to prepare, handle, and supply materials for other trades. The role involves supporting construction activities, maintaining site cleanliness, and guiding less‑experienced laborers.
- Load and unload equipment.
- Erect and dismantle scaffolding and staging (5x7x16).
- Level ground for scaffolding.
- Tend mortar and grout; lift, move, set, and shovel between wheelbarrows and buckets.
- Perform general cleanup, debris removal, sweeping, washing, and disposal or burning of debris.
- Place, push, pull, and shovel concrete; vibrate concrete.
- Provide direction and guidance to Laborer I, II, helpers, and apprentices.
- Build collaborative relationships with diverse coworkers and organizational levels.

Candidates must have completed a two‑year apprenticeship, be comfortable using a variety of powered and hand tools, and possess strong teamwork and communication skills. Physical ability to perform repetitive movements and lift up to 50 lb (with assistance for heavier loads) is required.

- Ability to perform repetitive hand, arm, and leg movements; lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 lb (over 50 lb with assistance or equipment).
