Ensure understanding of project scope and updates among team members and subcontractors
Lead, train, mentor, and manage estimators, including performance evaluations
Research tax laws, collective bargaining agreements, and permits
Organize, research, and strategically plan for estimate preparation, pricing, scheduling, and submission
Assist in project scheduling
Research and analyze historical project data for current applications
Provide conceptual, detailed, self-perform work estimates, and cost models
Assign work to estimating team and ensure accurate information is incorporated
Determine subcontractors for bidding process and final estimate pricing
Assist in selecting building systems and software programs
Lead estimating efforts on large and complex projects
Write and submit Requests for Information
Maintain regular communication with team members, owners, architects, and engineers
Conduct quantity surveys, cost estimates, and review subcontractor proposals

Organized and detailed with proven ability to fulfill all responsibilities for multiple, complex projects
Proficient with building/estimating techniques and software: ISqFt, ICE/Bid2Win, On-Screen Takeoff (OST), Bluebeam/PDF, Google Earth
Strong teamwork orientation, initiative, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or similar or equivalent experience
Must be currently legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status, 0-1, TN, CPT, OPT, etc.). We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
Minimum nine years construction industry experience
Six years construction estimating experience
Possess basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices
LEED AP, DBIA professional, preferred
Applicable mathematical skills
Proven positive and professional attitude, and strong customer service skills
