  • Program Support: Assist in planning, organizing, and facilitating daily activities, special events, and birthday celebrations for residents.
  • Employee Engagement: Help coordinate employee birthday parties and appreciation events.
  • Marketing & Promotion: Create visually appealing flyers, announcements, and promotional materials using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and basic design tools.
  • Event Hosting: Serve as the Master of Ceremonies (MC) for programs and events—introducing performers, engaging the audience, and maintaining an upbeat, positive atmosphere.
  • Organization & Maintenance: Maintain program materials, supplies, and activity areas in an orderly, inviting condition.
  • Cultural Communication: Support effective communication with residents from diverse backgrounds—particularly those who speak Korean, Chinese, or other languages—using translation tools and culturally sensitive communication methods.
  • Resident Interaction: Provide guided tours upon request or as scheduled, ensuring a positive and informative experience.
  • Decor & Ambience: Assist with decorating the facility for seasonal themes, holidays, and resident celebrations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure smooth program operations and a welcoming, inclusive environment for residents.

  • Cultural Sensitivity: Multilingual ability or cultural awareness of Korean, Chinese, and other communities highly desirable.
  • Experience: Entry-level position; previous experience in recreation, customer service, or community engagement preferred.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift light supplies and assist with event setup and decorations as needed.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with the ability to speak confidently in front of groups and use a microphone as an emcee.
  • Physical Demands: Regular sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, stooping, bending, and stretching. Must be able to lift, move, and set up equipment or decorations weighing up to 50 lbs, perform physical tasks for extended periods, and always work in a safe, responsible manner.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required. Ability to create simple flyers or posters (experience with Canva or similar tools preferred).
